by invitation...

Hi guys... I just started this new blog and because you are special to me I have invited you to be a part of it. I have loved blogging over the last 3 years but I think that I need to go private for just a bit...until I get this little guy home, at least. I love the comments and feedback and I think I will really need the support very soon.

So this is where I am....February 2nd, I was assigned a region, that Region is Almaty. It is a major city in Kazakhstan, I may or may not actually be in the city but in that region...think county in Texas. I don't have all the details yet.

I got an email on April 5, saying that the team in Kaz..wants me in Kazakhstan on May 10th!!!!! As of now I plan to leave on the 6th or 7th and arrive in Kaz on the 9th. I am over the moon excited! I have waited to be a Mommy all my life and the past 2 years and 9 months hopefully have shown that I want this bad! I have so much love to give this little guy.

The details are still being worked out and I am not sure who will be there on the other end to meet me.....I can only imagine...will he be Kazakh, Russian, Mongolian, German, Gypsy, Ukrainian, Chinese.......?? I do know in my heart that my journey is really only just about to begin. All my heartache from the failed adoption and lost time will soon just slip away when I find my little guy.

Thanks for your support, it means so much to me. I hope you continue to follow along on my journey to find Sam.

    Thanks for the invite. I can't wait to see a picture of you holding Sam in Kazakhstan. I know it has been a long wait but it will be well worth it once you hold him/her.

    I couldn't be more excited for you and am so happy to be along for the ride - finally! You and Sam have waited long enough but clearly this was God's plan. So get packin' girl and don't forget that long extension cord so that you can post on your blog from anywhere!!

    Yay! I am SO happy that you have news! Now to get back from Germany to get ready... We left over Mother's Day weekend 2 years ago to meet our guy (we traveled blind too) and everything turned out perfect and it will for you too!
